A few days after pinning on the badge a famous romance novelist is murdered. Because of his inexperience, he asks his father and his deputy for help in finding the killer. Frustration sets in when he makes no headway in the case.
Then, the body of his best friends son is found and frustration slowly turns to depression. Salvation is found in the arms of his childhood sweetheart.
